One scholarship will be awarded to a resident of Oklahoma. One scholarship will be awarded to a resident of Texas. One scholarship will be awarded to a resident of Area 9 (those not selected from each state will be combined for this scholarship). Should no event attendee from a specific state apply, the scholarship will be awarded to any resident in Area 9. Recipients will be selected by a name draw. Attendees should be between the ages of 18 and 28. Proof of event registration will be requested. Handbell Musicians of America membership is no required. Proof of event registration will be requested. Scholarship recipients will be asked to write an article for the Area 9 website/newsletter.
