Story & Song: The Meaning Behind the Music!
Musical pieces, whether or not they contain lyrics, often tell a story. The stories can be simple or complex, sad or comical, obvious or subtle. Sometimes, the stories are about how or why the music was written.
Concert Bells of Fort Worth presents ‘Story & Song: The Meaning Behind the Music.’ Bring a friend or family member and join us for an hour to hear pieces by Leroy Anderson, Louis Armstrong, Georges Bizet, Emily Li, Cathy Moklebust, Pasek and Paul, and William Payn. You might hear a story or two you never heard before.
Admission is free. Donations are appreciated.

This event is in its 26th year and it allows our groups to share all types of handbell music with our community. The concert is a donation-only benefit. Name That Tune / What’s In A Name Edition
If you come to one of our concerts, you will get to finish our concert program by writing in the titles of the pieces(pencils provided). Join us as we play a variety of tunes that have become iconic earworms over the years. We might still be able to play one you don’t recognize. If you have been to a handbell concert before, you know we need some chit chat between each piece so the ringers have time to reset their bells. After each piece is played, we will reveal the name of the piece and provide some background about it. Will your grade be 100%??
